Then & Now
Formed in 1993, Texas Latino was originally a hybrid Tejano band formed from several well known acts of the time, including Culturas and Oscar G's Sol. Tiger Diaz alumnus Severo Contreras and frontman, Rick Acosta, soon joined to create a unique, hip, and technical style that was quickly recognized with a TMA Best New Artist award.

The group continued their success through the mid 90's into the new millennium with smash hits like Chiflado and Mil Mentiras and continued to play shows in Texas and in front of Tejano fans around the country.

After several lineup changes and the success of Rick Acosta's solo project, the group returned to the studio in 2007 with new members Robert Luna on guitar and young musical prodigy Juan Castillo on backing vocals and bass. Their latest studio effort also marks the return of, talented accordion player, Xavier "X-Man" Trejo to the group.

Currently the group is playing shows all over Texas in an effort to promote their upcoming album which at this time is unnamed. They have written many songs for their upcoming record and have recently released 3 singles which are receiving airplay at various stations in and out of the state of Texas.

Anteriormente & Ahora
Formado en 1993, Texas Latino fue originalmente una banda tejana híbrida formada a partir de varios grupos bien conocidos de la época, incluyendo Culturas y Oscar G's Sol. Alumnos de Alex Tiger Diaz; Severo Díaz Contreras y líder, Rick Acosta, pronto se unieron para crear un único, hip,con técnica y estilo que rápidamente fue reconocido con un TMA premio Mejor Nuevo Artista.

El grupo siguió su éxito a través de la mediados de los 90's en el nuevo milenio con éxitos como Chiflado y Mil Mentiras y sigue desempeñando espectáculos en Texas y en frente de Tejano seguidores en todo el país.

Después de varios cambios de alineación y el éxito de Rick Acosta del proyecto como solista, el grupo regresó al estudio en 2007 con nuevos miembros en la guitarra Robert Luna y los jóvenes prodigio musical de Juan Castillo en coros y el bajo. Su esfuerzo más reciente estudio también marca el regreso de acordeón talentoso jugador, Xavier "X-Man" Trejo para el grupo.

En la actualidad, el grupo se presenta en todo Texas, en un esfuerzo por promover su próximo álbum, que en este momento es sin nombre. Se han escrito muchas canciones para su próximo registro y se han lanzado recientemente 3 individuales que están recibiendo en diversas estaciones de radio dentro y fuera del estado de Texas.
